Our History In 1983, Air Duct Cleaning Company
was started to decontaminate
air conditioning systems
by means
of source removal of debris and contaminants.
In 1993, with the company
continuing to take even more responsibility for the
air quality
in homes, offices and work spaces we added an IAQ Investigations
division, and the corporate identity of the company evolved into
The
Machado
Environmental Corporation.
George F. Machado, Founder

is guaranteed for one full year. We also offer NADCA standard testing to
verify our standard of cleaning. We follow EPA guidelines in
regards to sealants and sanitizers. We are fully bonded, licensed and insured.
Client Satisfaction Specialists: Indoor Air
Quality solutions and air movement systems cleaning are our main lines of
endeavor. Since our inception, we have performed tens of thousands of
successful system cleaning projects.
Experience and training: Our owners:
George Machado, President and Tom Pula, Vice President are
putting to good use their three decades of combined experience in
the field. They were among the first group of professional
HVAC system cleaning contractors to successfully pass the NADCA (National Air
Duct Cleaners Association) certification examination and have
been awarded the prestigious title of certified Air System
Cleaning Specialist (ASCS).
Our acclaimed Indoor Air Quality Investigations
division has a dedicated and professional staff who are pioneers
in the field of indoor air quality. They have written, and have
had published, scientific papers regarding indoor air quality,
have received endorsements from other professionals in the field
of indoor air quality, and regularly hold indoor air quality
seminars to improve the industrys and publics
understanding of indoor air quality.
We
excel at communicating effectively with the customer to ensure
that they receive the service that is needed, when it is needed.
We tailor our production time to work with our clients' in a
timely, non-intrusive schedule that fits their work or home
environment.
We use high-quality materials designed for the
customers specific application in air movement systems, these materials meet or exceed all codes or guideline
requirements.
Proven Methodology
Air movement system cleaning and
decontamination is a specialized technical activity requiring
such basics as chemistry, microbiology toxicology, etc.; a basic
working understanding of heating, ventilating and air
conditioning systems, in addition to its own specialized
know-how of system cleaning and sanitizing, contaminated material
removal, insulation repair or replacement, sheet-metal practices,
corrosion abatement, HVAC component protection, as well as many
others.
We use a time-tested methodology that guarantees
results. In fact, a recent joint research
project by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association and the
Environmental Protection Agency's research validated what we have been
insisting on for years, in spite of wide-spread industry
agreement that new technology was better. The project
proved that duct system surfaces must be thoroughly brushed and
the results directly inspected.
Add the necessity for a solid
grasp of safety measures for both workmen and occupants and you
have an activity that must be practiced by a knowledgeable,
highly-experienced, very ethical company. Air movement system
cleaning isnt simply an "add on" service
to be practiced by rug cleaners, chimney sweepers, asbestos
removers and others.
For our customers security
and safety, we carry a full line of Worker's Compensation and
liability insurance, have a C-20 contractors license (#719286) and janitorial bond.
Technology Assurance
We believe in staying
up to date with technology and always strive to improve the
industry for you. We are experts in our field and actively
support the following organizations.
The Bottom Line

the client needs to solve his particular indoor air quality
problem. Our purpose is to deliver what is best for the
customers needs. This may even include recommending other
professionals, if necessary, to get the job done right. Our motto is "We do what is best for the
client."
